Cancellation Policy

📅 Booking & Scheduling All bookings are handled on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to DJ availability. Events must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance to allow for planning and preparation. A signed agreement is required to confirm all bookings. 💵 Deposit & Payment A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 48 hours before the event. We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, or business checks. ❌ Cancellations If the client cancels more than 7 days before the event, only the deposit is forfeited. If the client cancels within 7 days of the event, the full balance is still due. In the rare event that Power88.FM must cancel, a full refund will be issued or the deposit can be applied toward a future date. 🚗 Travel & Setup Travel up to 30 miles from Fairfield, CA is included in the flat rate. Additional mileage will incur a travel fee based on distance. We arrive 60–90 minutes prior to the event for setup and soundcheck. Clients must ensure there is adequate space, access to power, and parking for our DJ and sound setup. 🔌 Equipment & Setup The DJ will provide professional-grade audio equipment (speakers, mixer, microphone). Basic MC/host duties are included (e.g., announcements, introductions, crowd engagement). Lighting and additional equipment are available for an added fee. 📋 Client Responsibilities Provide final event details (timeline, special announcements, do-not-play list) at least 72 hours before the event. Ensure any required venue permissions or permits are obtained in advance. Provide coverage or contingency plans in case of outdoor events and inclement weather.
